Our award-winning Brazilian designers create hand-crafted furniture, lighting, and art so that you too may experience sossego.
Your mission is to 1) drive growth for Sossego’s residential sales in the New York metropolitan area by leveraging your existing relationships in the A&D community and creating awareness of Sossego’s story and products, and 2) ensure the New York showroom showcases the Sossego brand, products, and story. Your target clients include residential A&D firms. You will identify new prospects and develop long-term and profitable relationships on behalf of Sossego. This is a client-facing position based in the showroom at the New York Design Center (200 LEX) with support from a strong, well-developed inside sales team. Compensation includes base salary, commission, and benefits.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Share the Sossego brand and product line with prospective clients through presentations, meetings, correspondence, and events.
Manage the administrative and hospitality functions of the New York showroom, adhering to the Sossego Showroom Guidelines.
Be in front of clients as much as possible and utilize the showroom daily to share the products and brand story.
Meet sales targets and deadlines.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with a network of residential interior designers and architects.
Identify new prospects and develop long-term profitable relationships with residential interior designers and architects.
Work closely with the remote support team to identify and close new sales or expand existing opportunities, serving as Brand Ambassador in the Tri-State area.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute events.
Work with the NY Contract/Hospitality Account Manager to lend support when needed.

Live in the New York Metropolitan area and can be in the New York showroom on weekdays.
Have 5+ years of experience selling furniture to the A&D community in New York.
Have an extensive network of existing relationships in the New York residential A&D community.
Are a known and trusted resource.
Are organized and good at the details.
Are a self-motivated, individual contributor who closely collaborates with the inside sales support team.
