Pitu is the chair you’ll never want to leave. Comfortable as the ubiquitous Brazilian hammock (which is the newest thing to pop up strung between trees across public parks on warm summer days) it is handcrafted of rich Brazilian hardwood, plush down, foam, and supple leather. The chair is engineered in a taut sort of swing reminiscent of a suspension bridge over a waterway. “Pitu:” it’s the sweet Portuguese nickname for Aristeu’s adored youngest daughter.
Armchair by Aristeu Pires is handcrafted from sustainably harvested Brazilian hardwood. Upholstered in leather or fabric.
