FAUX LEATHER
A high-performance PU-coated upholstery material by Caimi & Liaison, engineered specifically for furniture applications where durability and refined aesthetics must coexist. Constructed with a 100% polyester fabric base (35%) and a premium polyurethane coating (65%), the Vivaz Pro 23000 delivers the visual warmth and tactile quality of leather with the consistent performance demanded by contract and commercial specifications.
With a weight of 620 g/m² and a thickness of 1.2 mm, this material is built for long-term use, achieving 200,000 cycles on the Wyzenbeek abrasion test (ASTM D4157) — well above the commercial threshold for high-traffic environments. Its hydrolysis resistance (ISO 1419, Method C, 7 weeks without cracking, peeling, or delamination) makes it particularly suited for environments where humidity and wear are ongoing concerns. Colorfastness is rated at Class 4 minimum after 200 hours under AATCC 16.3, and wet and dry crocking achieves a 4 minimum under AATCC 8, ensuring long-lasting color integrity across its full palette.
The material passes all major North American fire safety standards, including CAL 117 (smolder resistance), FMVSS 302 (flammability of interior materials), and NFPA 260 (cigarette ignition), making it compliant for seating specifications across hospitality, workplace, and residential projects. Coating adhesion is tested at 1 kgf/cm (ASTM D751), and seam slippage meets a minimum of 25 lbs in both warp and weft directions (ASTM D4034-92).
Care is straightforward: clean with water and neutral soap or a neutral detergent. Avoid solvents and abrasive materials. Note that color variation may occur between production batches.

FULL GRAIN NATURAL LEATHER
A refined semi-aniline upholstery leather, sourced from Brazilian steer hides and developed specifically for high-end upholstered furniture. Chrome tanned and dyed through for consistent, deep coloration, the Granite features a natural milling surface condition that accentuates the organic character of the hide, with the subtle grain variations, elongation marks, and tonal nuances that distinguish genuine full-grain leather from any synthetic alternative.
At 0.9–1.1 mm thick, it strikes an ideal balance between suppleness and structural integrity. The leather has been tested and certified in compliance with RAL-GZ 430 and DIN EN 13336 — the German upholstered furniture quality standard — passing all required performance tests including rubbing fastness (dry, wet, and sweat), light fastness, finish adhesion, long-term fold resistance at 50,000 cycles (DIN EN ISO 5402), tear propagation load, flammability (DIN EN 1021-1), cold resistance down to -15°C, and water drop fastness. Ageing and temperature resistance are also confirmed after 3 days at 60°C with no color change beyond the accepted threshold.
The Granite also undergoes the full RAL-GZ 430 harmful substance and environmental health testing program, passing strict limits on formaldehyde emissions, VOCs, Chrome VI, CMR compounds, heavy metals, and restricted biocides — making it a responsible choice for projects where indoor air quality and occupant health are part of the specification criteria.
Care is moderate: clean with a lightly damp soft cloth, rubbing the surface gently. Avoid solvents and commercially available leather care products. Protect from direct sunlight and dry air environments to preserve suppleness over time.

NATURAL SUEDE – FULL GRAIN LEATHER
Premium full-grain bovine leather developed specifically for upholstered furniture, offering a soft, matte surface with the depth and character that only natural suede can provide. Sourced in Brazil and chrome tanned, this 1.2–1.4 mm leather is fully dyed through for consistent coloration and long-term performance, while preserving the authentic variations in grain and tone that designers value in natural materials. It has been tested in accordance with the RAL-GZ 430 and DIN EN 13336 requirements for upholstered furniture, including color fastness, light fastness, tear resistance, flammability, and pH stability. The material also undergoes extensive harmful substance and emissions testing under the RAL-GZ 430 environmental and health program, with strict limits on formaldehyde, VOCs, Chrome VI, heavy metals, and other restricted substances, supporting healthier indoor environments and compliance with demanding specification standards. A special water-repellent impregnation enhances everyday usability, while the leather develops a refined patina over time, making it an excellent choice for high-end residential, hospitality, and executive applications where material integrity, performance documentation, and tactile richness are essential.
